Arte-Dominicana
The Women Poets International Movement MPI was founded in 2009 in the Dominican Republic by the poetess Jael Uribe. This movement aims to support female literary talent by developing collective projects to enable the participation of talented women poets of the country, as well as women poets, members and ambassadors who support us worldwide.
We have created the Woman Scream International Poetry and Arts Festival a non profit event that is held throughout the whole month of March of every year with the help of volunteers poets, artists, and institutions, honoring women and their role in society, while it has a social message of NON violence against women.
