The mission of the Museo del Hombre Dominicano is to study, protect and promote Dominican culture in all its forms and diversity through the safeguarding of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, as well as preserving and displaying a permanent collection of archaeological and ethnographic materials that encompasses the entire history of Dominican Republic, from pre-Columbian times to the present day
