Hermela film is based on the true story that happened in the city Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The story was so high profile it got the attention of all the media organization, human right watch as well as the government. It is the story of Kassahun's (male main character) obsession of Hermela (female main character) and how far his obsession or confusion of love leads him to his death. Blinded and obsessed by her love he became violent towards her and her family in order to be accepted by Hermela. This film is the story of loneliness, love, obsession, acceptance, human right, injustice and murder.
