Artist: Kwadwo Ani
Riding his bicycle through town, the Ghanaian artist Kwadwo Ani witnesses not only the daily struggles but also many beautiful moments. Hope and Hardship is about life in these challenged neighbourhoods; his paintings are based on what he observes and experiences. Kwadwo Ani's works are bold and with a strong social commentary, and he loves to play with his palette knife and colours. The artist has been working professionally for fourteen years and had been exhibited both internationally and locally.
