Meriem, a young high school student, and Leila, who work in a factory, are confronted with the same persistent problems and prejudices that make women feel inferior and that slow their emancipation. Meriam, promised to a man she doesn't know and who has requirements, rejects this marriage ruled by tradition. Leila and her co-workers enforce their rights to dignity and responsibility to address the despising behavior of the foreman and the workers' paternalism. Then the woman will impose the active role she intends to endorse in society.
