Doris, a psychotherapist and mother of two teenagers, falls in love with Metin, a Turk who works as an inspector for the German police at the CID. They rapidly decide to live under the same roof, thus forcing their respective children to cohabit. With its razorsharp dialogue and comical situations, this hilarious and refreshing comedy confronts the spectator with a cultural shock, revealing the clichés that oppose these two communities within German society where they live side by side without ever meeting.
